1994 Anti theft blinking LED, broken or turned off?

i just bought a 94' and i noticed it has a blinking LED on the left side of the dash but it does not work. I am wondering if it has been turned off/disabled somehow of if it is just broken? I know on newer cars you can customize settings and turn things off like that but i have no clue on this car, please help.

I know on my 95, which has the same system, there is a black box under the drivers seat that is the control box with settings on it, just make sure u plug it back in before you go to start it, it will not start if that is not plugged in. Hope this helps!

Well, for me it was just laying on the floor, i'm thinking it was supposed to mount maybe on the underside of the drivers seat, but the wires come up through the floor, 94 may be different, but i don't believe so.

I'm not quite familiar with your runner model dude. You might try checking the wirings. Like you said it's probably new so maybe there's some just mis installation going on there.
