Here are my symptoms. When I run my heater/defroster, the windows fog up. I smell a hint of anti-freeze. When I run my a/c on recirculate, everything is ok. I have had my heater core pressure checked and it checked out ok. Any ideas. When I run my heater/defroster, the windows almost immediately start to fog up. Any ideas. Thanks

Stop breathing... Ok seriously, if you smell antifreeze that is not right. Most newer cars use the ac in conjunction with the defroster automatically. You might want to check why you're smelling coolant in the cab. Maybe your rear heater? More than likely coolant is entering the vent system causing instant fog. Also pull up your front carpets and see if the mat underneath is damp.

the smell is not normal. might have a leak.
the instant fogging up is normal when the windows are cold and you put hot air to it. just let the window warm up and the fog will go away. fresh setting makes it clear up faster but not by much imo. i never use fresh setting. lets too much leaves and crap trapped in the vent system.
another trick i have used and works . get some shampoo on a towel and rubbing it in on the windows, like your waxing it. than get a nice clean towel with nothing on it and buff the shampoo off till its all clear again. this have kept my windows from fogging up ever. you have have to reapply every season. at least for me i had to. now if you clean your window it will remove the shampoo and you will need to reapply
