1995 v6 4 runner missing/no power

hi, just looked at a friends 1994 v6 4 runner, fount that the 1&3 cylinder are not firing? any help here would be great. injectors,plugs wires????? HELP!!!!! THANKS, MIKE

if one and 3 are not firing check for spark if you dont get spark then its ignition. if the plugs are not getting wet then its no fuel.
check the resistance of the coil, then check the timing to make sure its dead on then check the fuel pressure.
GRAB a FSM and test some stuff dude.

Among the other tests, it might not be a bad idea to do a compression check. How do all the plugs compare when you've removed them? As the other poster said though, start with spark(ohm out coil, wires, change cap/rotor, etc) and fuel(running and rest pressures).
