I'm going to school and have to sell my baby... I'm super bummed about it, but what can I do.. Built it to be my BC Safari vehicle but never even got the chance to wheel it.
1996 Toyota 4Runner 2.7L 4x4 auto- 252 000km
Previous owner worked at a dealership and the truck has a stack of maintenance records a foot high. Synthetic oil since new. Oil changed in the diffs, trans and transfercase every 40 000km. Auto trans shifts super smooth.
less than 1500km on brand new Old Man Emu 3" lift. OME 881 front coils with Toytec top plate spacers and OME 60004 sport shocks. OME 890 rear coils with Pro Comp ES9000 rear shocks. Truck aligned perfectly and handles super well. Recent Toyota balljoints.
1 year old BFG ATs. 235 75r 15 (30")
- 2.7 4cylinder. Averages 12.1 liters per 100km. 23 mpg.
(1 year ago at 213 000km: Cylinder head resurfaced and acid dipped, new valves, head gasket, new timing chain, gears and guide.) Receipts for all. Work was professionally done and Cost a fortune.
05+ Tacoma mini header. Bought brand new @212000km
Deckplate mod.
Dynomax Superturbo muffler. @212000km
2 week old radiator. Coolant and trans flush done at the same time.
New rear heater lines.
Exterior is in great shape. 1 tiny dent the size of a toonie on the rear quarter.. Doesn't show up in pictures. Clear coat is starting to go on the roof. I swapped in the front bumper from a 2000 4Runner to accommodate a hidden winch which I was going to build this winter. I also added a couple old school Toyota 4WD emblems on the doors.
I've also started swapping in a Limited Leather interior. Truck has really nice leather front seats with power bases in it now. I've been looking for a rear leather seat for it but it hasn't felt very important as the current one is mint.
Truck has zero rust. Factory undercoated.. The underside is great. Never been offroad.
I've done so much stuff to this truck its ridiculous. I'm forgetting stuff for sure. Send a message if you have any questions. I'll stop writing before I cry on my keyboard.
