1999 limited headlight problem

I have a 1999 limited t4r and yesterday while sitting in my driveway without the keys in it the lights came on. The light switch is in the off position but the lights stayed on no matter what. Then i got the lights to go off by starting the engine. Not 20 minutes later they came back on. I disconnected the neg.cable. Any Ideas?

One of three things:
1) relay
2) switch on the tree
3) wiring grounding somewhere.
