1st gen Tailgate: I might have found some tailgates for 1st gens

Hello 1st gen owners.

I stopped by m local metal recycler yesterday and on a whim I asked if they have a tailgate for a 1st gen. They called their partners in Poulsbo, WA, who said they have two of them.

And they're asking $70!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have not seen them but I'll have to make a half-day trip out of it to go check them out. For $70 I was thinking about getting them both, but: Is there anyone who needs a tailgate???

I might just do that, not that I have use for two. I also don't know the condition of the tailgates. As long as they aren't roached out like mine.
