Here's the latest update...I made some more progress under the hood...Installed the intercooler and piping,
got the A/C lines mocked in, finished up most of the connections and hoses, just needs radiator and related to be complete.
Then got to buttoning up the ecu and related connectors, test fitting the interior, and just doing odd little mods here and there.
She's moving slow right now, but She's gonna fly when I'm done.

I know right!
Neither set of door panels fit...I'm going to make some hybrid panels by using a fabricated panel cut to fit the bottom half of the Lexus doors, I'll then place the Supra handles, pulls, switches, etc onto the custom piece. Then I'll fiberglass the whole thing in and wrap it in matching auto vinyl. I'll have to make it so the modified Lexus window trim will work with it also. The door panels are going to be a fun project all by themselves, but I've always wanted to learn some fiberglass skills, Here's a perfect opportunity.
On a side note, there's even a couple pieces of the 4Runner going into this build. Turns out, the factory 3.4 fuel supply and return lines are a perfect fit betwixt the 2JZ and the Lexus...

Congratulations...job well done. You my Sir...have an unique talent at morphing cars together!! Speaking of...how's your 4Runner doing? Is it still all you hope it would be?? Just wondering if the small V-8's power is still what you were hoping it would be...or does your 4Runner still feel a little low on power??

Shoooottt....Thing runs like a striped ass ape...:zoom: I don't know if they intentionally under-rated the 1UZ, or if opening up the exhaust and intake made a huge difference, or maybe the 5:29s helped out a bunch, at any rate, the thing feels very strong.
P.S. Thanks for all the good words and support along the way...Really helps keep me motivated to do a good job...

1UZ 4Runner full weight, 5/8 tank gas, armor, 35s, gear in the back, big fat guy driving, speedo's about 6mph slow...

Wow...I'm sold! My 4Runner couldn't do that in neutral flying down a cliff...lol!! Once again my friend..great job. When I get all my parts together, I'll have to offer you an all expense paid vacation to luxurious Granville Ohio...where you'll get the opportunity to help me complete this engine swap on my 4Runner free of charge!!
Don't worry...you'll have plenty of time to save up vacation time. I'm at least a year or two out...lol!!!
