Only $5.35 for a locksmith to cut the key. So far, so good.

Mine came with instructions to program the key. Took less than 5 minutes to complete. Easy.

Truck would not start. No further instructions (however, a Youtube link at the bottom of the instructions, which explains what follows below.)

I read back through this forum and found this:

To program the immobilizer: door closed, master key in/out x5 leave in, door open/close 6x, remove master key, insert new key, wait for immobilizer light to stop blinking (~1min).

Without this, I would have been screwed.

They work with all 05'-09' for sure. I think the nice thing for most of the people here is you can program the fob and the chip in the key yourself.
In some circumstances, it seems like you may have to contact the dealer to program it for you, which isn't a big deal...Except you have to pay for it.
Do you have the original key and fob? Or is it an aftermarket fob? (Remote start or something like that?)

Your immobilizer light is on the middle right of the center stack. It flashes after you have locked the truck.

Pretty sure you can use both sir. You just need to have either of them working and currently programed to your truck.
I for sure didn't use the master key.

Yes... got my reprogram and made this key my master key

Even the dealership said you need master to reprogram. 200 he cause they have to reseed it.
