2 ohm 6.5" speakers

Anyone have recommendations on finding a 2 ohm 6.5 speaker? It's not for a Toyota - it's for the wife's Jeep Liberty but I thought you guys might know. Her OEM door speaker crapped out and Jeep doesn't make them anymore. They want $160 for a remanufactured one and I'm having a hard time justifying that.

I know Infinity makes some component sets that are 2 ohm...but they'll be just as pricey or more than the $160. I'm sure there are others, but those are the only ones that come to mind.

I used the same above infinity speakers in a 3rd gen T4R. Sounded surprisingly nice for the money.Use the Infinity tweeters that come with the set, the crossover is much better than stock and is designed for the set. you wont be disappointed, they are very efficient...I believe about 90-92db.

I ran infinity kappas in a previous 4runner and was very pleased. I'm a little happier with my polk mm 6.5s, but I think those are 4 ohm.

My kappas could get quite loud if I wanted.

Just realized these also exist: P662 | 6-½" two-way Power Series® speakers | JBL US

Can't attest to their quality or sound since I've never heard them, but they get great reviews. I'm sure they are leaps & bounds better than the OEM versions. I was looking at these myself to go in my front doors. Just like the Infinity ones more or less...just may be able to find better pricing on the JBL version?
