I looked at wheel and tire combinations for months, but the stock 20" are what sold me on the vehicle. I have about 4,000 miles on them now, rotated at my 5k oil change. I replaced the OEM Yokohama at about 2,600. On road, I think the NTG ride better than stock and they don't track the grooves in the road like the stock tires. I tend to drive fast and corner hard coming from a 20thAE GTI. The stock tires came with 40PSI so I run the same in the NTG's. They are good on the highway and I feel comfortable driving 70-80MPH. They are now starting to make a bit of a hum on the highway (only with the radio off), but not too bad for an AT tire. Around town they are quite. Off-road has been minimal, just dirt roads and mud - there is not much open to off-roading in eastern MA. Had them on sand, over-sand roads and they did great; never aired down - I didn't really hit areas that were not compacted by other vehicles. I have not seen any evidence of rubbing either.

I really like the way those "Nitto Terras'" look on your truck, extremely sure footed!!
Now, just for clarity, I too have have replaced the O.E., Geolander G96B, 245/60/R20's to utilize the much meatier, GdYr Eagle, LS-2 275/55/R20 (All terrain); No lift, No rubbing, No problem!

There seems to be a bit of confusion wrt Toyota's rim size designations; not the most logical or user friendly system. So, just for clarification.

The "7J" rims for instance. The 7, does not represent the width of the rim, but the series {as in 7 through 7.5}. For example: A 7J X 17, as on the SR5 or the T.E. works out to be a rim that's 7" in width X 17" in diameter.

But on the "limited", a 7J X 20, measures out to be 7.5 inches in width, and a 20" diameter. A 7.5" X 17" rim for a SR5, or T.E. will have 7-1/2 J stamped on the inside of the rim casting.

So, a 7J on an O.E., L.E. will be "7.5 inches wide and 20 " in diameter (Not 7"); just for clarification.

Hey guys, I'll post my pics soon enough, but I too upgraded to the 275/55/20 Nitto Crossteks, and absolutely love the feel and look...what a difference! I had the long chat with the shop about rim concerns and they were absolutely confident in the safety of the size. BTW, I'm in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, and they told me they already had two LE 4Rs in the last two weeks come in for the same tires!

Wow, a ton of info here, in fact, far to much for my tiny mind! My primary concern is my families safety in the Maryland snow. My Linited is slipping around like crazy witht he stock tires and I need to replace them immediately with something better than a B rated tire. From what I gather, my choices are:

CrossContact LX20
Grabber HTS
Nitto Terra Grappler

Again, price/ looks dont mean anything to me, I just need to stick to the road. I do not want to buy new rims either!

I didn't like the "lightning bolts on the side of the nittos so I went with cooper zeon LTZ. 275/55-20. They fit great, look awesome (except for the nasty tire shine the shop put on) and performed well in the winter.
They stick out a bit more because I do have spacers on.
