Yeah, but why bother? Any proper SUV in this size range should have 265 stock IMO. Anything after that is a bonus.

Wild country tires
Has anyone had Wild Country XTX Sport AT's? Sale on right now, thinking of getting 275/55R20's for my 15 Limited. Or 275/60R20's with a 3 front 1.25" rear lift. Thoughts?

Vortex Rims on 2010 4Runner Ltd
I just picked up these Vortex Rims a couple of weeks ago to go with some 275 55/20 Goodyear Eagle LS2 Tires at Discount Tire. I originally had installed this size tire on the stock spare rim back in 2013 at Discount Tire, but the salesperson said he would not sell me 3 new tires to put on the other stock 20X7 rims, as they did not want the liability (he was even willing to buy back the unused tire mounted on the spare). Basically, he said there were no other choices other than the 245 60/20 tire that he would sell me to go on the stock rim. I really didn't want to change the look too much, but as others have stated on this thread, the 7" rims are simply too narrow. The salesperson ended up giving me a good deal on these rims; buy 2 get two free, so I went for it. I like the ride, but there is some minimal rubbing on the plastic fender well on the drivers side with full right steer. Overall, I'm pleased with the looks, and the performance so far.

I know this is a old thread but personally I think it's better to have a narrow wheel with a tire that it's minimum width is only .5" larger verse a really wide wheel and running a super narrow tire. Like these dummies that drive around with this stretch tire fad. IMO being a master tech and understanding things like this, it's really dangerous to drive with tires ment for a 7" wide wheel on a 9". I've even seen them on a 10" wide wheel. Oh and trust me I've seen what happens when the tire breaks it bead on the highway. It's not good at all. I can also understand tire shops not wanting to take a risk when it comes to tires. People are sue happy but in the Limited 4runners case, a half of inch difference on the tires side won't effect the outcome at all. When I had the whole Toyota Dealer ruining my Limiteds wheels so they replaced them I wanted to just have then install new tires while they were at it. I asked them about going to a different size tire and they actually recommended a 275/55/20 instead of the oem size because they knew there is only 3 tire choices. But they had a great tire deal going on which was buy 3 tires then you get the fourth free I couldn't pass it up. Especially since I used to work there so I get a discount on parts and service. With my discount I only paid about $105 per tire and obviously the mounting and balancing were free because they were giving me brand new Toyota wheels. Honestly I don't mind the Bridgestone Dueler HTs that came on my truck. They're not as good as the Michelin Defender LTX but they hold their own even in my state where we get deep heavy snow alot. I am actually surprised how low of a rating these tires get because they aren't that bad of a tire. The only thing I can complain about is they seemed to wear out quicker then I would've liked. First original set got almost 45k having 4/32nds of tread left and would've got another 15k to 20k more but since I was getting new wheels I didn't want to risk the new wheels getting damaged a year later. I have to find a tire shop that has those new tire machines that uses rollers to seat the tires instead of the arm that sits against the lip of the wheel to seat the bead. My shop has a old school machine that I wouldn't trust installing tires on a 20" wheel. In fact I don't think it's rated for that big of a wheel in the first place. Lol.

I like the look of the 20s, the biggest problem with the 20" wheel is it is only 7" wide, which leaves very few tire options. When I can afford it I will replace mine trail editions wheels.
I went with TRD Pro wheels and BFG KO2's. I'm in the processing of lifting it today and this is a crappy before pic.
