This fell out when I took my driver's door panel off...

Identify please? Where does it go?

Looks like it probably went on the top edge of the door...I think towards the front...but not sure. Looks like it would slide onto the sheet metal edge. Anything thicker and it wouldn't have come off I think.

Go to Partsouq.com and enter the vin and then go to body diagrams. Those diagrams will show the part. I recently found the foot rest clips on a 2000 LC on their website.

I tried that. There is a "bracket" for the door panel which I can't seem to find...so maybe that is it. It's a cheap part. It looks to go toward the front...but those diagrams leave a little to be desired.

I had same question and posted with picture last month when I swapped out a damaged driver’s door with a used unit. That same clip fell out when I pulled the door panel off on both doors!
Apparently nobody seems to know.
Sent picture to parts guy @ Toyota where I buy my online parts and they weren’t able to ID either.
Doesn’t seem to have much effect as the door went back together and is on the truck with no noticeable issues.

They clip to the top of the sheet metal in the window opening right by the front of the window rubber. Helps to align the door panel in a way to guide the window in perfectly. Not ultra important hence the cheap design.
