2002 T4R - Speed Sensor lead location?

Am installing a JVC KW-NT-300 HU w/nav into my 2002 4Runner and even with the factory schematics I still cannot find the lead to the speed sensor to splice the wiring harness into.

Am also looking for the reverse signal lead.

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Were you ever able to figure this out? I just installed the new Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT and am struggling with the same issue. Called Pioneer but no luck.

Installed a Z130bt in October and took some time to figure this out. Take out the glove box and splice into it there.

So I did like you said and spliced that wire into the white taped harness. Wasn't able to find the reverse signal wire in the kick panel though. Tagged every wire with my test light with no luck so I just left it unplugged. New problem now though...my air bag light is flashing. Tried disconnecting the battery but it still won't stop. Disconnected the speed sensor wire from the radio and still no go.
