2003 V8 new exhaust

Drop in. You will notice a big power difference adding these. K&N stands by there numbers,and although some people don't like Gibson to much, they have always produced solid numbers as well. Stock horsepower for the 4.7 is 270, if you only get minimum gains from both the filter and exhaust you are still pushing out over 300. I can feel it, and it doesn't seem to be trying to catch itself either. Very smooth and very fast. I am waiting to order the OBD Bluetooth adapter so I can connect my phone to the ECU and see real numbers. I had this for my little Mazda Protege, and could see every sensor, as well as getting real hp, torque, 1/4 and 1/8 mile, all that good stuff. Amazing what one can do with smartphones these days!

Yes, Smart phones have come along way... I am still playing and finding out new things I can do with my Galaxy Note3.

I also just got the Toy Techstream a very useful tool.. Even if you only use it to do ZPCs, it's already paid for itself in the convenience department. :yo:

I was upside down on the silverado because of a previous trade in and was royally screwed paying way more than i should. My payment was astronomical and i wanted to move out with my gf so i sold it for what i owed and started over. I miss the truck a ton but im happy with my decision. I had another truck in between the 4runner and that Silverado. It just wasnt the same and i shouldnt technically have sold that either but what can you do.

Eh, look at it this way, next time you see one in your garage, it will be the next generation, newer and at the price/payment you are comfortable with... Patience, along with remembering that sometimes you have to go 1 step backwards, in order to go 2 steps forward. Although I wouldn't consider your BA 4runner, a step backwards... :yo:

Sometimes, finding the RIGHT buyer is hard, but seeing how great it looked judging from that pic he posted, I am sure the new owner is happy :wink2:

Funniest GM story I know of: Long sorry, too funny though.
In 1987 we had a guy roll into our shop with a 1970 Corrolla. Baby shit yellow with blue wheels. lol I'll never forget it!
Wanted us to put the most heavy duty leafs we could get on its rear and tune it up. We made a log wagon with it I ain't kidd'n.
On his return we asked him why the big springs on a small car?

He told us it was his wifes car they bought new & he had bought 2 brand new Chevy trucks during her ownership. She wanted a new car too, so at some point he told her if the Corrolla was still going when his second Chevy truck bit the dirt then she'd get a new car and he'd cut the Chevy in half to use the bed as a trailor. We laughed so hard at him. He said the Toys speedo had turned over 3 times so 300k+ already so it would die soon anyway and get a new truck himself. He restored, sold & rented old houses.

I'll be damned, over 4yrs later I ran accross him. He was still driving the Corrolla every day. It had the Chevy bed attached and a great big rack on the cars top loaded down big time with ladders,paint cans, tools, buckets, spare tires ect... Still baby shit yellow & blue wheels & still going strong. He said he told her if the damn things still going when her car plays out she gets the Carrolla back...lmao

By the way, I think the 4Runner muffler sounds great. Im looking into making my V8 sound ballsy like it should sound....Too quiet now!

I'll let you guys know how long this 4runner lasts me, may be around longer than I am? Hell' 4 out of 5 of my Toy pickup trucks Ive owned are still going.
My only Toy that is'nt around is a 1970 I sent to the yard in 1978 when its hood flew up one drunk night at 60mph. My first Toy, my first crash..lol.
