I guess there aren't completely wrong since they did include the Sport in there. In Canada, the Sport model has SR5 badges on the sides and one Sport Edetion badge on the rear tail gate.

actually I think someone on this site mentioned a bunch of 4th gen's got sent over to Afganistan for military use so "taliban chic" is still in with the 4R I guess!

i dont think it was the 4R's..thai posted a link abt Mercedes Benz G Wagons replacing jeeps..i dont think 4r's with its current body would be able to withstand that much wear and tear..but the older FJ's would defintely rise up to the occasion..wonder if the new FJ's would be able to?

Not able to withstand wear and tear??!! The 4Runner is about the toughest SUV Toyota has ever made, look at the frame!

4th Gen in Afghanistan---

Was wondering abt the stuff upwards..they would have had to significantly modify it..

why would they have to modify it? They probably just strip it and add special equipment hold-downs or something.
They use Tacoma's with basically no change either. The 4Runner is more that tough enough. The Prado (4Runner mechanical twin and stripped GX) is used as a UN vehicle all over the world.
All Toyota SUV's are tough enough for anything!

maf diagram

I have a 2004 4 runner 4.7. While changing the serpentine belt the wires on the mass air flow censor pulled out of the connector. I need a diagram to put them back in. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
