2005 4 runner V6 auto, should be a 5 speed? right?
is 2005 the first year for 5 speed trany?

I havent even picked this used baby up yet, and I cant sleep at night thinkin about drivin it!

I think I'll park my TACO for a while

I'm pretty sure it's a 5 speed but dont quote me on that. Congrats on getting the new ride . The V6 is a great motor. Is it a 4wd ? What color ?

Yep. 2005 V6 was the first to receive the 5 speed tranny. Congrats on the new ride!! The DRL modification consists of a new relay. It's an easy mod to add, just swapping the relay.

Best car I have ever owned, 3years, 70,000miles so far, no mechanical or electrical issues. Still looks like new and love driving it. Average 18-19mpg mixed driving

I've been looking,test driving and lurking on dealership websites as well as on AutoTrader.com for several weeks.The 05 is my favorite body style,the 05 Sport has running boards instead of the stepbars too; I'm liking the boards better for our use.Now if I could only find some anal,car-geek type that wants to or needs to sell their pampered, micro-fibered, waxed weekly, garaged 05 Sport V6 4R!

Did I mention mine has had every 5,000 mile oil change and all scheduled maintenance performed (and stamped in the book, plus all invoices kept) by the same dealer I purchased it from, has annual full detail at Toyota (like they refurbish used cars), washed and vacuumed weekly, and is waxed with meguires NXT every few months, non pets or kids, and only runs on premium fuel..... I am that geek. Just not ready to sell. Maybe next spring, I am hankering for a V8 Limited or a new Tundra

I love mine , Its been the best I ever owned.
