I'm looking for a receiver that has iPod, backup camera, and looks like OEM.
I have the OEM JBL surround system in it currently and would like to keep the factory speakers and steering wheel controls.
I'm not sure if this car comes with an amp. If anyone could shed light it would be appreciated.

Ok so as I posted earlier in the one that you didn't work, for aftermarket Head Units I like Pioneer. They make a good product that is simple to use. The car does have a JBL amp, and with an aftermarket HU you must use either the PAC TATO or Metra TYTO which is the harness that physically turns on the amp. Each of these harnesses come with another harness that allows you to attach yet another harness to retain steering wheel controls. The PAC and Metra retail at around $110 but I found my PAC on Newegg for a meer $50. The install in our vehicles can be a bit tedious especially if you have the stock navigation but if you have a general idea of what you are doing it shouldn't be to bad. Heck im a 17 year old who dis it myself in under an hour. I don't know what harness is needed for steering wheel controls, but you could easily go into a best buy and they will likely have one in stock. Hopefully that covers all the info you needed!

Thanks HHIRunner

Anyone have procedures and images on how to remove the existing head unit on my 2005.

I'm also looking to find out where the sub woofer is located in my car and where the amp is located.

Thanks

I haven't installed a stereo in a long Time. Are there instructions and pictures on how to remove the panels surrounding the stereo? Yes I need information like I'm a two year old.

I believe the dash kit comes with instructions. But for more detailed actual pictures I just searched google. But for warning you have to take the whole dash apart starting with the center console then the area around the steering column then finally the trim pieces around the stereo. But most of it.is just snaps. Maybe 4 screws. To to the head unit and 4 more that actually hold the head unit in. Hope that helps!

I've purchased the Pioneer AVH-P2400BT. Any suggestions where I should run the Microphone for Bluetooth.
I also want to install the backup camera. Do I need Pioneer or can I buy any generic camera that is compatible. If anyone has a suggestion to find a reasonably priced one that would be appreciated.
If anyone has suggestions as to how to setup the rear veiw camera and where to run the wires.

I kind of need all details for the rear view camera. Again like I'm a two year old.

Will this Head Unit work with my existing JBL Synthisis speakers with the proper adapter. Will it be surround sound?

Lots of questions. All help is greatly appreciated.

Anyone have the part #'s for the PAC TATO and Metra TYTO.
I'm looking at both to compare. This is the parts that will allow me to use my Synthesis speakers.

I am also looking for the Steering wheel control unit part#. Not sure what brand, and If I have a choice.
