The only thing on the list is re-gear...but I don't foresee me having $4k for that anytime soon.
"Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?"......
"Germans?"
"Forget it, he's rolling."
In the rear, we swapped in the Icon Overland multi rate springs to help support the new CBI rear bumper and swing out. I am pairing these with the Fox 2.5 Tundra rear shocks with remote resi and dsc. We ran into an issue mounting the rear resi's since the hose on these is only 16 inches. We decided to not install these until I can get extended 23 inch hoses to mount further back on the frame rail. Otherwise, the 16 inch wouldn't allow for enough room to comfortable run these at full droop.

What part number are the tundra shocks? I'm wanting Fox 2.5 dsc rear but the 4runner part numbers are very short and shorter travel than my current 2.0's. I'd like to pair them with LT springs even if possible. 883-26-006 is the only 07+ tundra rear part number but it's not very long either.
You're lucky I keep a truck diary. :thumb:

Keep in mind, I had to get longer 24 inch hoses swaped out on these in order to tuck the resi's further back, that ran about $50 in parts plus $100 in labor.
Could you make the stock length hose work or do you have to get the longer hose in order to make these shocks with the DSC adjuster work? Thinking about going this route soon and I don't think there are any places around here that could do it. Also, are they direct bolt on or do you have to swap any bushings?
What skid plate is that showing up on the front bumper?
Just went through all 22 pages of info. It's a nice wealth of info because I was trying to figure out whether to go with Icon, Fox, or Radflo and I thought I narrowed it down to Fox to find out that a different rear would be the way to go for the lift height I was looking for. Do you think that if you had gone with the Radflo 2.5s initially that they would be similar to the Fox setup? Any reason you went with Fox over King / Icon?
I found the Radlo's to be a waste of time and money. Not only did I not like the rebound/valving - but both rear shocks broke on me within my first 5k miles.
On the flip side, I absolutely love the Fox 2.5 with DSC. They drive excellent on and off the road, and with a flip of a dial, I can firm up or soften my ride. They aren't cheap, but the ride quality was just what I wanted.
I went with Fox for the DSC valving and I got 35% through a friend. I personally wouldn't touch Radflo again - even their customer service was poor when I dealt with them.
Keep in mind I'm running Icon Overland rear springs and a rear bumper. Without a rear bumper these springs are way way too stiff. I'm also running 1 inch body lift.
How was your ride quality back when you had the 265/65/r18 BFG setup? Anything you disliked about it? I'm on the fence about what kind of lift setup I need. I'm not doing a lot of hard off-roading, but like to hit up trails when I'm out in Colorado (I live in Nebraska), which is about every other month (at least). How long did you keep your spacer lift before you upgraded? Did you notice any degradation in ride quality? Any long term issues that the spacer lift caused?
that's a good looking off road truck, you got there, brother.
was yours a Limited edition? with leather interior? because its w/ colored keyed all-over.
I dunno if below 06, V8 sports edition aren't colored keyed.
