2006 SR5 to 2011/12 Limited?

I've had my truck for 6 years now (79k) and it has been great to me the whole time. That said my eye is wandering and I'm thinking of going to a new Limited. I want the gizmos and technology that my car just doesn't have. The negatives are few, one is that this car is paid for and two is that I think I like the exterior of the 4th gen more.

One issue I have w the 5th is the huge 4Runner logo on the back. Is there a way to remove it? I'm thinking of going blizzard pearl, which will be a big change from my black rig, but would like to go the black route, tints, blacked out trim, etc. route. I've seen some pics on here, but do any of you guys have more? Overall if you've gone from the 4th to the 5th have you been happy with the decision?

Do you currently have a v8? If so, get an '09 limited or trail edition (rare).
If you have a v6, I think you'll be perfectly happy in a 5th gen - regardless of the color

I'm by no means saying the 4th gen is better, just saying that is the largest/most numerous complaint against the 5g.

I should have been more specific. I have a 2wd V6. It is very lightly optioned, sunroof, 17" wheels, leather trimmed steering wheel and that's about it.

I migrated from my 2006 to a 2010. I don't regret the decision at all. The interior is more spacious, there's more room between the front and second row, and I like the more masculine look of the truck. The only thing I can mention, is do your homework. There are a few features that the 4ths had standard that are on different trims on the 5th. (For example, no auto-climate on SR5 or Trail, only limited) I am extremely satisfied with my 5th. If you have the extra $, go Limited. It has so many sweet technology features (push button start, "touch to unlock" door handles, automatic illumination of puddle lamps and interior lamps as you approach, just to mention a few..)

You'll get used to it, it's Toyota! Now Go Get one! (Besides, you can keep your 4th. Just buy a 5th without a trade. I wouldn't have traded if I owned my 4th.)

There have been lots of treatments of the rear (and front) logos, from removal to various blackouts. Have you looked through the two picture sections? One guy even painted his pink.

I've owned two black cars in my life, and believe me you'll love Blizzard Pearl. It doesn't even look dirty when it is.
