Hi all new poster here. I recently found a 2010 4runner with around 18k miles on it. I test drove a few 2011's and was decently impressed. So upon driving the 2010 around I'm noticing a few things that weren't apparent in the 2011's I drove or any OTHER vehicles. Sometimes sitting at a stoplight with the brake pedal completely engaged it will roll forward anyway( happened to me and 3 other people who drove the vehicle). It's as if the transmission is overpowering the brake system. In general the brakes require a TON more pressure than the 2011 or any other vehicle to slow it down. Basically I feel like I have to stomp all the way down and use a lot of pressure. I have been back to the dealership twice and have been told that its normal and there is nothing wrong with the brake system. In the meantime I have been driving a friends 2008 4runner sport which seems to be a night and day difference in handling and stopping. Has anyone on here ran into the issues I speak of? Any ideas?
Thanks
