2010 Trail, 1.75" Bilstein, 285 Duratrac, stock TE wheels... Rub w/ 1.25" Spidertrax?

From searching the forum, it looks like I shouldnt experience any rubbing with Bilsteins at 1.75" and Duratrac 285s on stock TE wheels on my 2010 Trail. Im getting my install done next week, but at the very last second i decided to pick up a set of 1.25" Spidertrax wheel spacers too. In addition to the front fender liner mod and 1" rear Cornfed spacers, these will be the first mods I make so no UCAs, etc...

Does anyone have any input on whether I might experience rubbing bc of the last minute Spidertrax? Both on- and off-road?

If I should expect rubbing for both uses, will it mostly be trimming of the liner and/or mudflap, or should I expect something bigger like a body mount chop, etc? Im reading that UCAs shouldnt be an issue at this height.

Let me know so that I can budget extra time to finish the mods before the start of the work week next week and stressing out about any potential damage during my commute?

I have stock 2011 te rims with 285 duratracs with 2.5 lift and not rubbing what so ever

99% sure you will rub at full lock. 99.995% sure you will rub when you put on your spacers.

I'm getting *MINOR* rubbing on the BM, and fender(at full lock) with 3" of lift, 285 Duras, LR UCAs, and +4 caster. did the fender mod, and some trimming of the bumper.

That's a great suggestion. As for someone like me who just got a zillion post to sift through finding stuff hidden within an unrelated thread sometimes is quite hard. :redface:

Seems better than continuously getting new threads started or drumming up ancient threads to ask questions. It has been happening like crazy the last couple of days. Nobody reads the stickys. We have an excellent FAQ that is stickied that would answer 90% of questions but you think anyone checks? No.
There is really no such thing as ancient answers in this section as the 2010 model is basically the same as the 2015 model.

Your idea is fine except very quickly it would end up being some 2000 post thread with no organization and no way to reference anything for future use.
There are some really excellent posts on this forum that can be accessed with a simple search. Go try that in the TRD Pro thread. It has some good posts in there but to find them is the proverbial needle in a haystack.

Since I've been in your shoes, I'm going to save you the trouble in searching and reading a ton of posts to find the metaphorical needle in a haystack.

Short answer: You're likely going to rub at full lock.

Try it! Worse case, you can take the spacers off if the rubbing bugs you too much.

I have a similar setup except with 2.5" front and 265 Duratracs. Casters are set to +6.0 degrees.

I went out to the garage and took some pictures for your reference. At full lock, there is about 0.25" clearance between the tire and the body mount. I'll let you do the math on the differences in the tire sizes (hint: there is a link in this thread).

I don't have any rub at full suspension travel with the front fender liner moved forward and the front mud flaps removed. No mods to the body mounts. I would recommend not taking the mud flaps off with the 285s unless you have done the body mount chop. Tires rubbing on thick plastic is much better than tires tearing on sharp metal edges.

Yep gonna rub but only at full lock like they have mentioned so does it bother you those very few times not me , rubber on plastic little annoying yes . I scared the crap out of lady at super market hehe she dropped her starbucks (I bought her another) .

Just trying to see if I'm going to have any issues with rubbing on body mount. 5100's all around, set at 1.75 up front. Mojaves with 4.5bs and 0 offset and 285/70/17 BFG AT's. Did the front fender mod and removed the front mudflaps. Currently don't have any rubbing. Just trying to figure out if adding the spidertrax is going to create further issues. Really don't want to have to deal with body mount right now. I know the BFG's are a little smaller than the Dura's, so I'm hoping this is where I won't have issue.
