2011 4 runner CD player...

:help::help::help:Hi all...our Cd player has stopped working and has rarely been used...will not take a cd and the screen flashes CD IN..??? There s no cd in as it was taken out they shawn a flash light in and there was no cd...Bought a cleaner and it will play that??? Any help would be greatfully appreciated as the dealer said order another one they cannot help! ugggggg we have taken out the fuse and the battery to reset but same as???

do you have the head unit with navigation? It could be the GPS disc error that i think has happened on here before, search that.

Common problem with Toy/Lexus cd . Check/search in audio ! Also easy to remove head unit & check it out . Buddy of mine had guy fix his in highlander for less than 100$ . Lots of little plastic gears in there so might be real easy fix ?

Hi donnelda,

To reset your truck's "Entune" firmware, you must open the hood (Engine room), look in the Fuse/Relay box and locate the fuse labeled... Amp 30A; it's a GREEN fuse in the lower center column. Remember that this system utilizes current storage devices (capacitors) that must be fully drained before a full reset can take place; which could take up to two hours or more. There's no need to remove the radio/accessory fuse in the interior 'Driverside fusebox', as this fused circuit gets de-energized during vehicle OFF CYCLES.

Wait I'm confused... you have a 2014 and the dealer won't replace it under warranty?

Derp! Sorry you're right, it'd be out of 3yr/36k...

Yeah, you can try a hard reset by pulling the short pin/disconnecting the battery. But really the headunit has issues; we see them from time to time.

so is it possibly trash????? My Husband is going to try taking the fuse out for a few hours hoping this works....we dont use it often buy i hate that it is not working!!!!

wait, so was it the GPS/NAV disc? or the CD player... im even more confused now...
