Was worried about towing close to 5000 lb limit of 4R, ended up towing boat to lake, 90mi trip one way. Interstate first half then freshly paved winding, hilly back country road to lake. 4R did surprisingly well, was able to maintain
65-70 mph without much effort. Was careful going around turns and did not slow any traffic down on back country roads.
I ended up renting a space to park boat so I only need to tow from storage area at lake to boat launch, less than 200 yards away. At end of season I will bring boat back home to winterize and store indoors.
Saves me the expense of buying another vehicle.
