2012 LE No Sliding Rear Cargo Floor???

OK as some of you may or may not know I have been surfing the interweb to find a newly used 2010/11 LE.
Being on the west coast I'm finding it increasingly difficult to find one with the specs I want, most important to me is the sliding rear cargo floor.
So yesterday a sales guys sends me an e-mail saying how about a 2012, I was bored so I entertained his idea and gave him the specs I wanted, not 15 mins later I get an e-mail saying
"Oh we have a shoreline blue one coming in March, you should put a deposit down on it as it has the sliding rear cargo floor and I talked to Toyota and they said that they are not offering it as an option on any more new builds"
I laughed and found his sales pitch amusing, then I got to thinking maybe Toyota are not planning on having the sliding rear cargo floor as an option. It's still on the Toyota website, anyone else out there heard about this or is it the sales guy trying to get me to move on a 2012.?

If it has a third row seat, which most LE's do. It will NOT have the sliding cargo tray (bummer) but I'm %80 sure thats why it doesn't.

I own a 2012 Limited with the sliding rear cargo deck. I don't know what Toyota is planning for the future.

Hey Man I have a 2011 TE with the slider that I do not want, so if that is the deal breaker then get yourself into a T4R that you want and let me know if you want my slider, PM me if this might help ease your woes about getting one of these rigs. I have had mine for six months after 4 Tacomas and this is one hell of a truck!

You shouldn't have any trouble getting one with the cargo tray. I ordered a 2012 LE in January WITHOUT the 3rd row or cargo tray...could have had one a long time ago but they hardly make them without these features. My new Runner comes in mid March.

I'm actually looking for a 2012 LE with a sliding rear cargo floor right now, and cannot find one anywhere. The dealer is telling me that Toyota told him it is no longer an option. I have an email in to Toyota, but haven't heard anything yet.

Does anyone know if this is something that can be added aftermarket?

You can add the oem sliding tray if you do not get/have the third row seats.

I have a LE with the cargo slide out and I'm looking to swap it out for a third row. If you're unable to locate a LE with the slider, let me know and maybe we can work something out.

How much does the sliding tray sell for? I have one sitting in my garage. Problem is I live in Hawaii. Someone pay shipping plus $50 for me to box it up and it's yours. Note that it's missing 2 screws that bolt it to the floor by the tailgate. I used the screws to hold down my home made compartment for amps. I'm sure you could get replacements for a few bucks.
