2013 4runner brake (inside) noise???

I have noticed that on my 2013 4runner when ever the brake pedal
Is pressed that it makes a electic noise best way I can describle it! Is this normal if so what am I hearing? I just never heard this type of noise not comcerned just want to know what it is and why it does it?

Same thing happens in my 2012, fyi. No idea what it is. I figured some kind of hydraulics or the ABS testing itself...

It's normal, it's called the "Soggy Shoe" syndrome

If it is a buzzing that last a few seconds and only happens every few times you brake, then it is the brake booster pump and it is normal. They really all do that. The booster pump is on the other side of the firewall and so you are feeling the vibrations and hearing the noise of the pump.

I get a squish noise at the pedal. Annoying more than anything.

2013 4runner breaks

Just took my 2013 4runner with 194 miles in to dealer.
Brake's were spongey and could hear what sounded like an air leak when pushing on the pedel. Bad power booster the cause, get it back in 3-5 days.
have it checked under warranty
