Something about that SR5 seems weird..it seems to have a combination of Limited and SR5 features.

I agree...if it's an SR5 why does it have the FT 4WD control knob like the LE has??? Also seems to have dual A/C controls from the LE but not the LED climate screen that the LE has...and the price is in the LE range rather than SR5...strange...

The climate control is the same. I see a few changes...

1-The shift select knob like mentioned above and,

2-The Homelink buttons are now numbered 1,2 and 3. Wonder if they light up now?

3-The Aux input now has the USB there as well.

I like my manual shift knob better FWIW!

The two major changes for 2013 were moving from the manual shift for the 4x4, to a limited style shift knob. It's not the same full-time system as the limited, as you can see you have H2, H4, and L4. The other major change was the input/aux moving from the glovebox to the center console.

everybody has been trying to find pictures of the 13' SR5 with the changes, and so I thought I would give autotrader a try and sure enough about three dealers have received the 13' and put actual pictures up.

this post seems to confirm that only the SR5 got the changes spelled out in the Toyota PR... and that the 2013 Trail remains the same (as demonstrated by irishmjm's new TE)

Cool...thanks for the post!

"2-The Homelink buttons are now numbered 1,2 and 3. Wonder if they light up now?"

The Homelink buttons are numbered on my 12 LE but do not light up...

There is also a dual seat warmer lever, Entune and leather chairs. Did not know SR came with these options.

It looks like there is a small light above the numbers on the homelink in the picutre of the 2013?

I think my favorite change is the input/aux move. I didn't know after reading the press release if they meant they were moving it into the center storage compartment, however to have it right in front of the shift with a small cuby that will fit my ipod, very convenient.

The gauges weren't a huge deal to me, however my wife would prefer the white backlighting. I'm nuetral on the 4x4 knob selector, however, lean towards liking it as it will be easier for the wife to use.

I am still crossing my fingers that the keys for the 2013 are the same as the new Camry. Same basic concept but look newer, whereas the current key seems to be aging in design. Details like keys should change across the entire line based on model year... seems like it would be easy.

Good find with the first pics of the changes for 2013 !
However, you said there are two major changes and it seems there are actually three looking at that MSRP listed at $40,980. That's about the msrp price a bare bones Limited 4x4 used to be. That's got to be an inflated msrp with a bunch of dealer add ons or something!

$37-$38k for these options is pretty standard. Probably just inflated because it's a brand new optioned up13.

Mr. Antman, did you take some of those pictures????:hatsoff: LOL

Rear Parking Assist

I noticed the SR5 has the rear parking assist sensors, whereas the '12 and presumably the '13 LE does not even have this as an option. At least I know what the blank switch cover is for now!?

I don't know why they don't offer this on the LE? Even a 2006 Sienna had a backup camera and parking assist sonar sensors front and rear.

All the 12' SR5's I looked at had backup sensors... The camera was optional either in the rear view mirror or the entune.

So let me get this straight, I paid about $7,000 more for an LE that now looks just like an SR5 (no offense).

Unless I'm mistaken the only similarity is the Knob
LE still has:
Wheels/Tires
XREAS
Dual climate
A better looking interior (even if both have leather)
Keyless entry (which is more than meets the eye)
Ya get what ya want, I think "We" get really fixated on price on this Forum.
