2013 auto running board stuck out

I do not believe its electrical (unless something blocking pro switch) since the driver board starts to retract and then kicks back out. It is snowy here. I ran truck through wash but same thing. Sometimes it will retract when going into drive and start driving. It is still under warranty, however, I just took it in for 30,000 mile service and hate to make another trip. Any suggestions?

Ice.
Park it in a heated garage for a few hours, will cure itself.
Go to a movie or whatever if you or your mates don't have a heated space.
