2014 4Runner

You know....posting stupidness more than once does not make it any less stupid. :croc:

I didn't put that in this thread, and don't know why it was moved here. But whatever. I don't know why you're bothered that some random guy on the internet thinks your truck is gimpy, but I found this for you...

Try not to use it all at once. :D

You missed the point. If you would have put at least a second of effort into what you call 'thinking' you too would realize its stupidity.

But if the new Limited does have 4L will you be back to apologize?

Dude, go take a breather. Do whatever it is you need to do to stop acting like an angsty 12 year old girl, because right now you're making a fool of yourself. If you're still all bent out of shape over a little gentle ribbing in an hour, then by all means come on back and lay out in detail whatever point it is you think I missed. Bring crayons, use small words, call me all the names you want, whatever.

But right now, go take a walk. Seriously.

the 2014 Limited 4x4 Should have a Three mode switch :

Mode 1 : Center diff Unlocked / Normal full time 4wd
Mode 2 : Center diff Locked / High range
Mode 3 : Center diff locked / Low Range

Ahhh nice misdirection. Back to point - still 'thinking' the 2014 Limited has no 4L or will you just mask your retreat with insults?

Oh FFS, I'm not "thinking" anything, you tedious whiny b!tch. I DIDN'T KNOW if it had 4lo or not, which is why I asked the flippin' question! If you weren't so busy getting offended over a little shitflickin', you could have just answered it and gone about your day, and if you had any sense of humor at all you'd have done just that and maybe flicked a little crap of your own and we'd all be friends.

Instead, you had to get all butthurt and start crying over how stupid I am, and now here I am laughing while you stomp your feet and pitch your little fit and try desperately to save face. The 5th gen Limited may not be a girly crossover, but you definitely have a girly ego. Hope your day goes better, man, I think I'm done jousting with you.

So, basically you read the following and then used about a ouch of brain power and came up with the right answer in about 2 seconds?

The 4Runner Limited is equipped with a full-time, four-wheel-drive system with a locking center differential and a three-mode, center console-mounted switch. The A-TRAC traction control system is standard equipment on all 4x4 models.

I have no idea what your problem is but in the immortal words of the late great Jackie Gleason "Do the letters FO mean anything to you"

Anyone seen a picture showing backup sensors on the SR5??
It appears they are using the TE bumper for SR5 for 2014, and I don't think there are backup sensors anymore. I can't tell if the switch to turn them off is on the dash anymore. All the interior pics of the SR5 have the steering wheel in the way.
I like the bumper much better on the SR5 now, but I would like backup sensors.

KidVermicious I don't think philly meant any harm, it's his playful self.. Which is a bit on the dry side, takes a while to grow on you :behindsofa:

however, what you did was a bit of what we call "pickin a fight"
you can't waltz into a room full of enthusiast and bash without expecting a nudge back :fish: .. Especially when making a completely uneducated insult..
I have put my Limited through some scary situations and am always blown away by what it can do.. Just sayin...

You gotta take it when you dish it, ya know what i mean..

Back on topic... If this is what the limited is going to look like, I feel bad for anyone in the market.. that enormous chrome piece is just freekin terrible.. I mean, seriously Toyota?! It looks like a defunct explorer :repuke:

He didn't come across as playful at all, Danny, though if he was all he's got to do is say so and I'll be happy to amend my new opinion of him. I don't think he'll do that, though, he was worked up enough to whine about me in two different threads and to keep calling me names long after I walked away. That's not a dry sense of humor, that's butthurt.

On the other hand, I was being playful. Smilies and everything. Come hang out in the Classics section for a bit, you'll see there's nobody in there afraid of giving or taking a little goodnatured grief - I get back just as much as I give out, and I take it with a smile. But sometimes when you're insecure and defensive, it's hard to see the difference between between a gentle ribbing and actual insults. I'm pretty sure that's what happened here - Philly saw malice where none was intended, and he flew off the handle. He's welcome to prove me wrong. But don't tell me I can't take a joke when I'm the one that was joking in the first place.

Nope he won't just as he cares not of your opinion of him since you have already been proven wrong!

Out of respect to my good friend Jesse I've said all I'll going to say on the subject of anybody thinking the 5.5 Gen Limited won't have 4L is silly at best. :yo:
