I checked the ebrochure and don't see any real difference between the SR5 premium and the Trail premium other than the KDSS option. I actually like the grey accents in the front, remind me of my 2005 Sport Edition . Am I missing something? I don't go off roading but like the Trail look. I guess I could just have the front and back grey accents painted though. I have the actual shifter for the 4WD now and hate that, I think that the Trail will have that instead of the knob to turn on 4WD. Pricing would be nice to see on their site....

Good God Toyota, just give me a normal looking white Trail with the black accents and the new interior. If my vehicle has gills, it better be able to breathe under water.....

in case you cant find the pdf's on the toyota website here they are for download.

Both the 2013 and 2014 docs have the 20" Limited wheels listed as 7.5" wide. So, it's probably another typo and they are going to remain at 7" wide. Annoying.

granted these have to be done by the dealer, but at least when you go in to pick up your new vehicle, you can give them a list of items to setup.

if i remember correctly the initial setup for a new purchase is free, any changes after that they can charge you.

Seems strange that you can't select a particular model and see all possible exterior colors for that model. They show nothing more than the red TE that we've been seeing for months. Still waiting to see a Super White TE...

Hmmm, not sure how I'm feeling about that new front end with that pic from Hawaii....is that black? That's what I was looking at but now I don't know. Guess I'll have to see it in person. Maybe better with a nice stainless bull bar....

Another update from Hawaii: took my '12 to the dealer for the third complimentary service in the morning -- no '14s, just empty parking spaces. Came back in the afternoon on the courtesy shuttle -- and there were a bunch of '14s!

I had to run to another appointment, so I couldn't spend more time or ask for a test drive, so I just walked around and "absorbed" the new look. In my opinion: they look much better in person.

A few things I noted:

- nice to see an actual front license plate bracket; I like it (think it adds to the look)
- mudflaps on the SR5 and Trail; none on the Limited
- the (optional) fixed running boards on the Trail and SR5 look good (better than the accessory running boards)
- the Trail and SR5 were non-premium and did not have the mirrors with puddle lamps or turn signal repeaters

First Post

Let me start by saying how much I've enjoyed reading this thread that past few weeks since I discovered it. This is my first post on this website! I'm a newbie to the world of 4Runners. I currently own a 2005 Corolla with 225k+ miles on it but I'm ready to take the plunge and get a 4Runner! I've been wanting one ever since I rented a 4Runner back in 2006 out in Colorado. I've put my order in at my dealership for a 2014 4Runner SR5 Premium. Everything was going great until I clicked on the link for the Canadian Toyota site this morning. In all the research I've done online, the new color 'Nautical Blue Metallic' looked to me more like a Navy Blue but on the Canadian site, it looked more like a bright blue. The navy blue will pass the 'wife' test but I'm not sure about the blue that was on the Canadian site! :wink2: Has anyone seen a 4Runner with the Nautical Blue Metallic version and if so, do you have a picture that you could post? Here are two screen shots that I found online that should show you what I'm talking about. Would Toyota change the type of Blue from a pre-production version to the production version? Any help would be appreciated. Love this website! I'm glad I'm not the only one anxiously anticipating these hitting the dealers in the midwest!
