2014 4Runner

Now my question is will the new LED taillights fit on the previous body style :) If they do, I am swapping! They don't seem to stick out as much

I made a conscious effort to not look at this front end since some of the first images came out... Now that I see it again (SR5 and TE)... I hate it even more. It looks like a cancerous growth on someones nose. *No offence to cancerous growths on someones nose*

The Limited, even with the chrome hideousness, seems a little more appealing... A little.

Strange to see for once the Canadian Toyota website is ahead of the American one... toyota.ca is running the 2014 vs toyota.com still showing the 2013. Pretty cool to see all the models and color options. Finally a white TE, but not BP white :-(

Yea but they don't have the right pictures up for the TE edition. It should have the silver front piece.

Here are pics i took while at the dealer today

Thanks so much for posting these. In particular, I was curious about the gray sport, and I'm glad you have two shots of those. I think the closeup shot from a higher perspective makes the new front looks a bit odd, but I have a feeling they look pretty decent in person. I imagine the new design will look very good lifted.

In the 2nd pic, is it just the lighting or does that white Limited have black/grey 20" wheels? It makes a white 4runner look pretty aggressive. Is that finish optional? Anyone know? That design wheel in 17"x7.5" would be nice.

It's the standard Limited wheel. Same design as before, but painted black with a machined finish.

The grills on the SR5 and TE are huge... Lots of plastic. I have a 2011 TE - an errant golf ball hit my grill and punched a hole in it. I bought a billet grill to cover the hole, but I think the new large surface area of grille space will not last if gets hit by rocks and other road hazards. Seems like a bad design, but time will tell.

Have a 2014 in the showroom right now, I didn't catch what trim it is... but those fog lights just make it look so wrong.... love the lights and the taillamps though...

Has anyone spoken with any dealers in the Mid-Atlantic region regarding ETA?

I'm getting answers ranging from 10/15 at a Washington D.C. area dealer to sometime past the first of the year at other dealers.

Autotrader has several '14's listed, but most appear to be on the west coast.

my new car gm has told me jan/feb.

which works perfectly for my situation. these govt shutdowns/furloughs are wrecking havoc with my steady income.

until they fund my contract for 5 yrs straight i cant commit to a purchase at this time.

already went thru a 6m extension, and now on 30 day contract bridge since june-2013 waiting for a full contract funding.

actually at that angle, the reflection make the rims look better "imo", grey machine finish would look better on a white.
My thoughts exactly. I'm just wondering if the guy who posted these pics can chime in and tell us if it's indeed a reflection or grey wheels?

they are. you have to see the previous post so see the actual rims. they are the limited wheels which are machine polished silver.

I was told end of Nov. to early Dec. by two dealers and late October by another.

well here is a question that hasn't been brought up or talked about.

how does the govt shutdown affect the new 4runner or does it affect it at all?

since the EPA and NHTSA is shutdown, will the new 4runners be able to get :

1. EPA Emissions Certificates
2. New Car Safety Tests (halt the release of crash test data and star ratings)

or is that already done for the new 2014 4runner?
