it seems to me that the 'angry' look of the SR5 can be greatly minimized if there will be chrome grille and chrome bumper accessories to cover the current black grille over the radiator. I say this because if you look at the Limited edition, its not bad looking at all -in fact its got that rich gentleman-hunter look due to the chrome front grille(and chrome bumper). I can picture an owner wearing a tweed jacket holding a tobacco pipe beside his limited edition with a cute young lady smiling coquettishly at him :girl:
looking at the crystal ball, it seems that the 2013 and earlier boxy look will start to look more and more like a 'dated' look kinda like the older honda pilot - just my guess -..
if however the SR5 look will turn out to be too radical for the more conservative customers, then, there might be a slight change in the 2015 and up to soften a bit the transformers/angry look....who knows...although, ,really, all toyota has to do is replace the black mesh grille with chrome, and that might possibly do the trick or at least offer it to customers as an option.
