2014 Brake Controller Harness location

I searched the forum and could not find any specific advice or pictures. If someone know exactly where this is, and how best to access it, I would appreciate it.

Is it behind the left kick panel? Is that panel removable?

Is the harness completely covered in tape, which must be cut away?

The brake controller harness is located on the left hand side just behind the fuse box next to the parking brake pedal. It shouldn't be covered with tape or anything. It's a little way in there if I remember correctly. Once I put the wiring harness on for my Tekonsha P3 I just tuck it behind that panel when I'm not using the controller.

Please post pics of where you guys mounted your brake controllers. I have to mount my P3 in my 14'.

Location not determined yet

While I hunt for the harness, I am also trying to figure out a good mounting location for the controller. No luck so far. I found myself wishing they would just include a controller with the tow package, integrated in the cockpit somehow. I would gladly donate my Prodigy to some poor Grand Cherokee owner.
