Thank you but that doesn't help me at the moment.Roll a window down, remove the key from ignition, press lock button. Reach inside and unlock the doors from the inside.
What happens if you do what I said in my first post? Should honk the horn.Is the alarm one of the disabled by default features enable able using the tech stream program? No VIP option of course, but I've heard here this is the case. No clue why and my dealer even denied knowing about it. Maybe an urban legend ;-)

TE and LE have a hood switch, but other than that, I think LE/TE/SR5 are mostly the same.
Now that I got the chepo alarm out of there,...the horn starts beeping...so that mean I already have an (pseudo?) alarm built in?Roll a window down, remove the key from ignition, press lock button. Reach inside and unlock the doors from the inside.

Info about the theft deterrent system is in the manual:
1-6. Theft deterrent system
Engine immobilizer system
With the SOS system some trucks have that wouldn't be hard to do either. They can already notify police of the GPS location of a stolen truck with a police report.cbreze
...only thing it really lacks is some fancy notifier that texts or calls you.

the techstream option for glass sensor only works if you have the VIP package installed which adds that actual sensor if I remember correctly.
But with that, when a glass break, it will actually sound the horn??
If so, any idea what's the part number and any idea how to add that sensor?
