2014, is there a Toyota VIP alarm available?

Thank you but that doesn't help me at the moment.
The dealership installed a crappy aftermarket security system before selling me the truck, so there's a security system installed in the truck right now. I'm making them take it out and give me a discount. They did offer to replace it with a genuine Toyota security system if one was available.
I would rather not take the truck in twice. I haven't been able to find a part number for a 2014 Toyota VIP system, that's why I'm asking.

What happens if you do what I said in my first post? Should honk the horn.
TE and LE have a hood switch, but other than that, I think LE/TE/SR5 are mostly the same.

Tried that ages ago. Nothing happens. Someone posted awhile ago a pic from the menu of tech stream options and under security it was clearly listed. Even enabling the breaking glass feature. I have not tried enabling mine yet.
Now that I got the chepo alarm out of there,...the horn starts beeping...so that mean I already have an (pseudo?) alarm built in?

Mine has no green light and it works as expected. I have no idea if it can be immobilized via techstream it is not listed as an option in the customization section. [MENTION=1032]NoDak[/MENTION] posted a techstream list from his 2014 LE and all I saw was an option for glass breakage sensor

Just adding info here for the OP.
My SR5 Premium also has a hood switch.
Detailed info is in the owners manual as to how the system light flashes ina certain sequence.

Saw this but believe it to just be the chip in the key, preventing starting by other means, thus immobilizing the engine. Guess we all have this. Which considering how audible alarms are so commonly ignored these days is probably the most important theft deterrent item.

What I thought was strange is that nodak's techstream listed glass breakage. I was curious about this, I looked around and no one sells an OEM glass breakage sensor for a 5th gen, truly strange. 4th Gens had a glass breakage but not 5th, I wonder why? Anyone know? For the most part with that it is a complete system; forced entry, hood, glass/shock, engine immobilizer, only thing it really lacks is some fancy notifier that texts or calls you.

With the SOS system some trucks have that wouldn't be hard to do either. They can already notify police of the GPS location of a stolen truck with a police report.
Is there a techstream option to enable "audible" alarm in this situation?
But with that, when a glass break, it will actually sound the horn??
If so, any idea what's the part number and any idea how to add that sensor?

Are you more worried about someone breaking in or someone stealing your 4Runner. The engine immobilizer will keep it from being stolen unless you leave your key in it. A silly car horn won't do crap regardless of what anyone thinks.
Funny story: I was away on business a few weeks ago and staying in a motel. My 4Runner was in the parking lot along with all the rest of the vehicles. Around 2AM a bunch of car horns started honking and wailing out in the parking lot. Within a minute people were going outside and finding over 20 vehicles had been broken into! My 4Runner was not. Came to find out the next day all the vehicles that had been broken into had some valuable in plain sight. Aftermarket navs, golf clubs, filled shopping bags and even shoes. What the police said was this was the work of a big group of kids who coordinate and do a break and grab all at one time. How well did those car alarms do? Terrible.
My point is if someone wants something in your vehicle they see they will take it regardless of what type of an "alarm" you have. By the time you get out of bed to see what is happening they will have your stuff and be gone. The engine immobilizer will keep the vehicle from being stolen unless they come in and load it up on a flatbed.
Keeping your stuff hidden is a much better theft deterrent than an alarm.
