Are you having Oracle actually open the headlight housings for LED and halo lighting and then they will keep the OEM halogen projectors for your HID bulbs/ballasts?

That is not what I was told they would do, but ultimately what they had planned to do all along. I only find this out now, after they CUT my lights open and cannot paint the housing as I had originally explained that I wanted done.

This is going down hill very fast!

I wanted everything black other than the high beam reflector bowl and the chrome ring that goes around the projector. I have highlighted the piece I am talking about in yellow

Surely they didn't CUT them open. The usual way to open headlights is to heat them to the point where the sealant softens, then pry the two halves apart.

Never, ever, heard of cutting lights open. Sure hope you're wrong.

That looks like the fabric edge for the no scratch fabric they have over the optical surfaces. Doesn't look the housing edge IMO.

Ok.... I am standing here looking at my housing CUT. I may not be exactly the smartest guy out there, but I know what it looks like when someone cuts through a lens. Also.. A very big clue is that they told me. You can even call them and they will admit that this is standard procedure for Oracle

Also that is a very poor place for a jack, that particular section of your bumper will more than likely see a fair amount of close brushes with obstacles if you do off-roading and will result it that jack being relocated... somewhere about a mile behind you on the trail.

I agree... very shoddy indeed. I am going to get a refund and find someone else. This is not the type of work is acceptable.

That’s for looking out there on the Hi Lift. Jack placement was never intended to stay there. I just have a hard time imagining how things fit specially without actually placing them.

OEM = a simple life. Mod only what is absolutely necessary. Leaks, failure, squeaks, shorts are sure to follow. Hope you can find a good resolution.

I am currently planning a course of action for tomorrow. I hope it as simple as
explaining that I need a refund and showing the receipt for my new lights I ordered today. I suspect it will not be that easy and they will ultimately force me to utilize my resourcefulness and media contacts. I hope not, as that is alot of work.

If anyone has any ideas or knows an Executive at Oracle, please let me know.

Wait did you sign something giving them the OK to install it by cutting it open? Here in Philly, well Pennsylvania...burden of proof is on the business owner that they did the proper job on a installation. Meaning, they mess it up, they have to fix it. If not you get someone else to fix it, pay for it and save receipt. Then go to city hall and file a small claims case for $26.50. Business gets served and Cory date you meet up again. The judge will give a decision that day, after hearing arguments. They might also call who ever you used to fix their mess up to verify that it was done. No matter how you proceed, you can always count on your day in court.

Tiffanie Hartenson sp? is the owner or owners wife. I originally sent them OEM Limited housings to paint. After all the screw ups, they sent me a set of Depot replacements. Basically aftermarket replacements. They would not budge on replacing them with OEMs. If you've already bought replacements, they will not reimburse you for them. At best, you could get aftermarket replacements from Oracle and resell them.

I sincerely wish you luck. If you'd like to name drop me as a contact and vendor, please do so. You can tell her that their reputation in our forum has been tarnished. Tiffanie is VERY familiar with who I am and who I represented (High Tech) when I originally dealt with them. I was to be a distributor for their products and services. Needless to say, I never used them for any of my customers (thank, GOD!).

His problem will be little different than yours. It's a 14 new redesigned front end.No aftermarket crash parts for it yet. His vehicle is useless right now with defective headlights. OP can really hold their feet to the fire by tacking on rental car, on this since they made the car not safe to drive.

This makes me rethink buying from them. I just set up a wholesale account with them just last Thursday.
