Just bought my first 4Runner, a 2015 Trail Premium and already have an issue at just 100 miles. When shifted into gear I get a noticeable (constant) cricket chirping noise. I originally thought it might be a belt, but it is not coming from the engine compartment it is coming from (near) the transmission. It gets louder as I accelerate (in gear), loudest around 1,100 Rpms and seems to quiet after that but it is hard to tell. Any ideas? Will be bringing it in this week. Other that, pretty sweet ride....

Doesn't sound good....my uneducated guess would be a bearing of some sort.
Are you able to record the sound just in case they can't reproduce it at the dealership? That way you can have it documented to CYA.

I would make them test drive it with you in the car. As you hear it have the mechanic or dealer manager confirm that they hear it. Record all of it on your phone with proof of what your mileage is.
I DON'T TRUST that they will do the right thing. They've made their $$.

Does it go away when you brake ? On my 05 & 011 they caliper has only 1 clip on the pad added i more on 05 & no more noise , waiting on clips from napa for 11 . Hope it something simple !!
Sounds like a heat shield vibration issue.
