2015 TEP passenger seat making more comfort

Greetings!

And a few others and could not find my answer to...

My wife needs assistance with the passenger seat, it is not comfortable for her on long trips, like for real not comfortable, not the usual long trip uncomfortable.

To describe, it feels like she is falling out of it, like the front part needs to be raised a little higher than the back part. (she is 5'2", 100lbs for info).

The front digs into her leg, but when she props her feet on something, it is like she is just sliding out of the seat because the seat is flat, and not angled a little.

This is a bit hard to explain I know, I am trying! It is a concern because when we do drive, it is for long trips, around town does not really matter.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to make the seat more comfortable? I am going to get into it this week and try different things, ranging from towels to see if a can put a space in the front part of the seat, but hopefully someone on here has already done something and save me the work.

Hi 4FL,

My 2012 "Limited" leather seats are amazingly comfortable! I guess you could always swap-out the stock 'Captain's chairs' and replace them w/anything that you/wife can imaging. One option might be to go to a 'Very High-end' Auto-upholstery shop and tell them exactly what you don't like about the stock seats, and they'll show you their catalog, which will include aftermarket or a 'retro-fit'; striping down the toyota units and "Rebuilding" them from the ground up e.g., adding 'lumbar' controls, heating elements, a/c ducts, extra soft (or firm) cushions and really soft leather... "The choice is yours"! Cheers!

I figured going to a high end upholstery place would be the means of last resort.

I am going to mess with it first, hopefully doing this and that will alleviate the issue well enough.
