I love the white.
Only concern I have, is that there is a ton of rail dust on it. I've checked on other white Tundras and Tacomas in the area and they have similar issues.
I bought a bottle of this spray on IronX shit on Amazon that works great. So far I've used it on the hatch, and a door. I will be doing the whole vehicle though.
Coming from a black car, I love the white though. It's hard to see scratches and blemishes, and it always looks pretty clean.

I am another fan of both and was thinking about white for something different (our last 3 cars have all been MGM). In the end I knew the bug guts and road tar on the white would bother me more on a daily basis then the battle scar pinstripes on the MGM. Can't go wrong with either color, IMO just go for the best deal...if I were to do it again though I may take a closer look at the Nautical Blue!

That is enough pinstriping to look like cartoon motion lines. It looks like your truck is always going fast.

I've had both, the white is awesome, but the grey is absolutely amazing!!!! I think the grey is just a meaner looking color.

I would have the white lettering on BFG KO2's and a Gobi Rack. Only thing is, how does magnetic grey on a TEP look with the stock wheels? I'm digging for pictures of this setup. I flip flop on these two colors hourly. When I look at the white I just love it then someone posts a picture of the grey and back and forth I go.

My sister has the same exact truck as me in Red, I really like the red and silver combo and almost ordered it that way but at the last minute chose White.

I too Had to have white and was trying to order it from one dealer who was playing games.
Ended up at another dealer who had a TE in every color ( rare find for sure).
When I looked at the white up close there wasn't enough contrast (black or silver).
It just looked like a service vehicle ready to slap on any companies logos.
I sat there for two hours deciding while the salesman hounded me every 15 minutes to talk $$$.
In the end I chose the MGM Gray which was my least favorite color going in.
Now I love it and get tons of compliments on the color alone.
I liked the red too but my wife's Camry is Barcelona Red.
Couldn't have two cars the same color.
Still think white is a great color. Just didn't do it fo me that day.
Iv'e seen a bunch on here that people add fender flares, blacked out badges and wheels and they look sharp.

I get exactly where you are coming from. I feel with the white that unless it is accessorized properly that it'll not have that snap that MGM has but once you can get it to that point then white becomes great if that makes sense. I do love both and I would probably sit and stare for 2 hours trying to decide as well. The TEP is a rare find here and is almost certainly a special order to get what you want.

I feel like the white is a more desirable color in general, in case resale was a factor
MGM is almost like black paint in the sense that it's a bit difficult to keep clean. However, it looks very sharp after a wash and the paint pops. I was on the edge between white and MGM, but went with the later. Toyota's super white paint looked pretty plain to me. Not much of a candy white, or metallic that I was hoping for. You can't go wrong with either.

They are the same exact trucks. The only thing that is changing is the name and some badging. Otherwise Trail = TRD Off Road.
