No flames...you guys deserve to be where you're ranked. Tough to beat again this year. Don't think Clemson can pull it off with their losses.

I just want my Longhorns to improve they should I don't see them Winning the Big XII like I have read predictions by some they will. I just want good improvement for now 2-3 seasons from now I'll worry about the Playoffs for Texas.
I also root for Washington State have since I was in middle school because my sister went to Udub and my dad was a big Husky fan since the 60's so I had to aggravate them.
Root for TCU a bit too due to other personal ties to the school. So yeah I root for 3 schools

I've actually got a soft spot for a few of those teams. I grew up loving Michigan as well as Texas. Loved that James Brown/Ricky Williams squad. And TCU? Who could not love a team with a Horned Frog as their mascot?!
But UW will always be #1. Fun to see them back in the folds. Gives me the old Don James feelings.

2 of my 4 kids are Michigan fans
Even though I'm not a Husky fan I was sad my dad wasn't still around to see Washington have the season they had last year. He passed the year before and he would have been so excited. my dad was still wearing his 1991 Rose Bowl sweatshirt with in the last 5 years.

College football is back and all is right again! I'm very SEC loyal (Go Gators!) but love seeing conference parity across the country!

For someone with no dog in the fight, what a game! I turned it on at the beginning of the 4th and had it on in the background while I messed around the house with random chores (thinking it was over). The last 5min had me glued to the screen.

I was at work during the game, my wife (A&M grad) was watching it with some friends. I checked the score early and saw 24-3 A&M, and was like "Alright, that's how it should be, keep it up guys." I checked again with 20seconds remaining and it was 45-44 UCLA. I wasn't even surprised, I've spent many hot days at Kyle Field... Lately A&M does well the first half, and then they blow it in the second half.

Is everybody ready for another great weekend of college football? There will be some great games for sure! OSU vs OU, UGA vs ND and Auburn vs Clemson.
