22re- Where does this connector go?

So I'm still struggling along doing a head gasket/timing job on my 92 4runner. It's all back together, but I can't figure out where this/these plug(s) goes.

I'm pretty sure the dark grey one doesn't do anything, but am unsure if the light grey one is plugged into anything. The light grey one's wire comes out of the wiring harness between the 1/2 and 3/4 fuel injector wires

Anybody know? She's back together, but not starting - I'm not sure if it's this plug, bad distributor timing (i foolishly turned the engine over with the distributor out) or something else. It turns over fine, occasionally chugs like a piston or two is firing, but generally does nothing.
Pretty sure it's the distributor. But this plug is haunting me.

The injectors are all plugged in - I thought the light grey one was for an injector too, and spent a bunch of time trying to get it in - but the injector plugs have two little fins on either side - and this one won't fit.

Looks like they probably don't do anything on my truck. I thought that at first, as there was no female end near either of them. Also, they're both pretty dusty inside the little o-ring, unlike the other connectors.

At any rate, I got it going, and it seems to be running fine. I was just having a distributor timing issue.

Thanks for your help everybody - the head gasket/timing job took a little longer than I would've liked, but it was a good bonding experience with the old girl.

I bet you Toyota used one injector harness for the v6 and 4cyl. lol.

otherwise... knock sensor or 02 sensors.... but i agree it looks like the fuel injector connectors.
