255 85 16 Maxxis Bighorn

Just wanted to give people a heads up that Maxxis Bighorns in 255 85 16 are $155 a piece at Onlinetires.com.

I had these same tires on my 2nd gen Tacoma, and I already decided that they would be the tires for my 3rd gen T4R before I even bought it. I LOVED THEM. They are 8 ply, so not super heavy. The compound is better for snow or ice than Toyos. Also, they run bigger in height and width than other 255's I'm familiar with.

I ordered 5 tires today for $875 shipped! (4 would have been $700)

Great tires. I have them in 285/75/16. I got a set of 5 for 1,140 mounted and balanced. The 285s fit perfect with a 3" lift, no rubbing and plenty of UCA clearance.
