Nope, not that I'm aware of at least. It's a huge gap in the market. I want a C or D 255/86/16 AT tire, like a K02, SO badly that I've written BFG in the past, begging and linking 20+ offroad forum threads. LOL

The reason they're all load range E is because they're common tires for Dually trucks.

I'm right there with you, would love KO2 in a 255. Cant even get a KO2 in load C or D in a 285/75/16. I'm currently running the KM2 in the 255/85/16 and love the size, but I dont need muds and want to switch to AT tire.

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but I felt it was better than creating another one. Is anyone run 255/85R16s on the factory rims? If so, how much lift is needed? Can I get by with 2” using the narrower tires?

IMO 255/85R16 is the best size! I'm running the Toyo M/T 255/85R16 (which is a 33.5 inch tire) on the factory wheels. I have a 3.25 inch lift up front and almost 5 inches in the rear. The tires clear fine but the fronts do rub when flexed and turned on the trail. Which is why I would say 2 inch lift is not enough. A 2 inch lift + a 1.5 inch body lift would likely solve your issue, but best to just get a 3 inch lift imo.

Yea, load range D is all there is. I wonder if treadwright would make a run of 255’s from our used ones. At least the sidewalks would be broken in and softer. Still would be heavy though.

The marketing team is the catch-all for this, which could be a dead end. However, I recieved acknowledgement on my email, and the person stated that it was a logical ask, and he would be getting it over to R&D for me. I linked about 30 threads from various offroad forums.

Let's make some noise! Lets overwhelm them-- it could move the needle

I ran the factory 5 spoke with 255's and a 2.5" lift with no issues.
