265 or 285 with cornfed 3/2 lift ... looking for pics

I have the Cornfed 3/2 Lift with stock size replacement Michelin's and it doesn't look like the other trucks. I definitely want to go with bigger rubber, but my Michelin's are still like new. When the time comes I'm thinking 265/70R/17's because I don't want any trimming.

So just to clarify ... these are 265/65R17's with the 3/2 lift?

Wrong. Take a look at the radiator on a V8 and you'll find a transmission cooler. Do research before you type.

I saw that, thats why clockwork and i recommended it! Bigger tires cause more stress on the transmission and a trans cooler would be a good idea since his V6 didn't come with one from the factory.

I have had my v6, even with extra Hp and torque modded that way for years now with a 3" lift and 33's... I towed around my 4500lb boat for hundreds of miles never having and issue, even with 35's now and my tranny still is going strong, IMO he should spend 100 bucks on something else for his t4r rather then that

Dude, the OP didn't ask for your oppinion about what the rig would look like or if he needed spidertrax or allpro wheels spacers any more then the opinion/suggestion the others had about the tranny cooler... It's just people helpin people.

BTW, of course you'd probably be fine without the tranny cooler but it would help cause less stress on the tranny..... we dont all need front bumpers, sliders or 35's but some have them right.... easy does it:welcome:

This has got me thinking I have 255 mud's now (32) and I almost ready for my lift:tongue: Hoping to get 3/2 out of it. Now wondering how it's going to look seems some look good, and others look bad, with the smaller tires.
Like to see how it turns out for you.
Also consider the fender flares are bigger on the 06-09's
I have a 06 SR5 has 17's. When I have the money looking to get the Goodyear duratrac possibly?
