275/65/18 All Terrains Tires Fit Stock?

I was originally looking at replacing my tires with the Bf Goodrich all terrain TA KO 265/65/18. However, I would prefer to have the 275/65/18s. I don't have a lift, so I don't know if it will rub when I turn the wheel, and if It will fit in the spare tire spot.
I would greatly appreciate the help if anyone knows if this will be a problem or not. I'm looking at getting my tires either tomorrow or Monday, depending on how soon I get feedback. Thanks in advance!

You should be good according to the Tire Cal Tire Size Calculator - tire & wheel plus sizing

According to that calculator, the diameter difference between stock and that size is 4.87%. That calculator warns to stay under 3% so I am not sure if that tire will fit without a lift.

Correct me if I am wrong but that is what I saw??

Yea that was the same result I got. I've been having a back and forth battle with myself about the sizes, but from what I've gathered, It seems the 265/65/18 will be my best bet.

From the searching I have done in the past on this, you are safe with that size with no lift.

If you compare the 265 and 275's on BFG's site there is quite a bit of difference in height and width so I wouldn't feel comfortable telling you the 275 will fit. Unless someone else on here can tell you from experience.

There are a lot of guys on the forum with 17's vs the 18's so the info is harder to come by.

well I decided to go with the 265/65 and its perfect. theres is minimal rubbing, but not enough that its worth fabricating. the 275s would have definitely been an issue. thanks for the help though!

Very nice!!!! I love that color too. I am considering the very same thing you were: 275/70/17 vs 265/70/17. I think you made the right choice...the 275 BFG would have definitely required either trimming, wheel spacers, or both.

I had also crossed the BFG AT off my tire list but seeing this post makes me reconsider...thanks alot! Ha :jk:

I bet just on the UCA at full steering lock. It seems that it happens to some on here and doesn't happen to others.

Really 265/65 TA KOs rub? Those were going to be my next purchase but not if they rub. Not sure if the fact that I have 17" instead of your 18" rims will make a difference, but I really don't want ANY rubbing.

yea, there's very very light rubbing when you have the wheel fully turned. I can take some pictures tomorrow from the side, and with the wheel turned to show where it rubs.. again, its a very small amount, but regardless still warrants a mention. And yea, I don't know, I imagine if they were 17 inch wheels, it wouldn't rub since its so modest with the 18s

The tires don't ALWAYS rub with the wheel fully turned. its only occasionally and I believe its because of the aspect, bumps, or any other variable in the road great enough to cause it. I really don't imagine the 17s would rub at all for day to day driving. although if your out 4wheeling, it may be more likely. anyways, hers a couple more pictures. sorry the quality isn't the best, I had to use my cell phone.

Looks good, I had these same wheels on my 2000 4Runner but I forget what size tires I stuck on them. I thought they were 285s but I'm not sure. I love the AT KOs, I had 325/60/20, super quiet and great off road.
