--285/75/17 BFG's on Stock Height--

FWIW -I average 21 highway and 17 city, 18-19 overall with 275 BFG AT's. I'm down one more mpg with the lft.

I am planning to put spidertrax spacers in and would like to run 285/70/17 Toyo Open Country A/T's that are 32.7" tall and 11.4" wide, do you think I will have a rubbing issue at stock height and stock suspension? Will the spacers help or hurt? Thanks for any input.

Spridertrax should make it rub a lot more. You shouldn't need spacers at stock level. They are wide enough at that height. They don't look "stilty".

due to this tread and the fact that I keep getting flats my oem TE tires I just ordered a set of 285/70/17 KOs, should be here monday, ill post any rubs then as im sure I'll get them off road a bit then, also thinking of ordering bilsteins, would like to get away with running them at 1.75 in the front with zero rubbing...

So I got the 285/70/17 KOs mounted up today, I wanted the Ds but the Es were shipped instead, so I ended up taking them instead at no extra cost (1188$) mounted white letters out, they dont feel to stiff to me so far, did a bit of wheeling and definetly do better in the sand than stock, mpg took a hit, they feel pretty heavy but drive better than stock imo. SO they did rub just a hair in the front and back of the front tires. Did the fender liner mod and now the front rub is gone with plenty of room to spare. They still rub in the back at close to full lock, I think a little caster would solve this, I can easily live with it for now as its only a hair.

Going to go with bilsteins 1.75 front and have alignment done then, will be perfect for my needs then i think. They look bad ass already!
