285/75 vs. 265/75 need help

Well i just ordered my wheels today a month later than i thought haha they will be here on Wednesday and i should have them and my new duratrac 265/75/16's on as well, pretty stoked!

i went with procomp 7069's like dirtduster's 4runner had. cost me $540 new from 4wheelparts

think im going to hold off on the lift till the end of summer though, so i have a chance to save up a little more money for school in the fall.

get the Tundra 17" wheels and go 275/70/17.

They are 1/2 inch wider than 265 and 1/2 thinner than 285s

congrats! It's fun to get new wheels and tires. I've had my 4Runner for 8 years now and it's fun seeing it with a new look.

ya a little to late for that haha i dont really have money set aside for the lift right now anyways. but i did think about going with the 275's for a while

yea im pretty excited right now, i think i got a good looking combo as far as wheels, tires go, hope the rig turns out how i think its going to!

well i got my 265's and my wheels mounted and i think they look great! couldn't be happier! the wheels push the tires about 2 inches out of the fender and gives it a good stance. no vibrating or humm at high speeds yet. do have some rubbing on the pinch welds at full turn and i did have to change out the bolts with some counter sunk alan bolts but it works great.
