Well, had a ball joint bolt snap off in the spindle while trying to install the new ball joints last night... wooooohoooooo, now I get to take the spindle off and see if I can extract that broken bolt.

Was taking a guy on a test drive and the tranny started acting up... :redbrick::redbrick::redbrick: had to drop the pan and replace the solenoids!
I ordered them from Ebay... A340 Transmission Solenoid Kit Lexus Toyota Truck 1985 Up New 340H Valve Body | eBay
Very easy and straightforward install, anyone could do it. Don't be afraid to do it, just because it has to do with the transmission... It's not as scary as it sounds. Simply drop the pan and they are right there! One bolt on each solenoid and they are free, then just take off the wire connector! Be very careful, the connectors are plastic and very brittle, two of mine broke, but the connector still slides snugly into place and won't come out.

Two drives with the new solenoids so far and it has worked flawlessly both times! Horray for an easy fix!

The new build has begun! I didn't end up with a GX470, but I had a V8 4th gen fall into my lap for a STEAL of a deal, so I ran with it! Check it out here!
