3 day blitz

I had a customer roll in the shop (pre-booked) Tuesday ... to have his 1/4rs replaced .. we discussed the work which includes NO Paint , and shook hands .






Wednesday we rolled the unit in ..
and quickly got the roof removed , and interior out .. and started to remove the steel 1/4rs

not a lot of rust on this unit .. but as I constantly see , rust under the top rail .

that ends the 1st day ..


day 2 Thursday

grinding and cleaning the internal rust , and installing the new fiber 1/4rs

day 3 Friday


glue is cured , and time to put it all back together ..

done and ready for paint .....

Who makes the FG quarters?

What do you do when the seam where the inner part of the fender well mates to the inner framework is rusted out? (right where that tool is sitting in pic #2)

and if the wheel well is rusted , you can either replace the tub , or just weld in some pieces .. really it would be an un-seen repair , so you could even just "glass" up the tub .
