3" lift and new 285/75/16 tires

285s no problem at all with just normal driving, most will rub the uca when wheeling. 305s might rub the uca as well as the frame at full lock without spacers.

Thanks, Do you recommend any spacers and spacer size? if i went to 305.

Like I said; doing lots of digging looking for answers. Didn't notice the date on the thread as they have been all over the place. But i do still pose the question with my scenario if anyone has any insight...

I ran 305's on 3" lift, stock UCA's, 1.5" body and 1.25" spacers with no rub. Once I got the SPC UCA's I rubbed on the pinchweld. IMO 305's are the best tire to run on a 4runner. You get the gas mileage of a 33 but width more like a 35. Looks great.

I don't pay attention and I have a legitimate question, I just saw the 1st thread that was similar to what im doing and jumped in instead of starting a new thread..

Sooo help a brother out? lol whats a good tire size for 3" suspension 2" body with no extreme flexing mostly road,dirt beach riding.

For that much lift I'd do 35's. Heck, even for 35's I wouldn't lift that much...

Yes! Most people would say the 255/85/16 is the perfect tire for 4runners but who honestly wants a goofy pizza cutter truck

Only way you can get 35's without a lot of lift is hack the heck out of your truck and or run a SAS.

I hate pizza cutter's. I like a lot of tire when running 10psi and crawling up rock faces.

Yup. Im confident I can do it with 2.5" of lift and keep it looking decent. A second t-case and a lunchbox locker up front are going to happen before 35's though. All three of those mods will really test the ifs so I'll have to take it slow and see how much it will take.
