No I'm not a poser. If that was the case why wouldn't I have just thrown a spacer lift on and called it a day? I'm putting a lot of time and effort into making sure I do my first lift myself the right way and no shortcuts. I'm just not crazy about chopping body mounts that's all. This is still my daily driver and my wheeling vehicle. That's why I'm only going 3 in and not doing any long travel or anything crazy. I've had the 4Runner for 3 years with intentions to lift it to make it more capable and now I've got the money to do so. I'm not out rock crawling or dune running but I still enjoy trail riding and camping. So I want a capable truck.

Anyways. If you are actually gonna wheel it and aren't willing to chop, you'll probably rub with even 265/70r17s.
With aftermarket UCA's, they work by adding caster, which in turn moves the wheel back a bit. I run 275s and before I chopped the body mount, I rubbed on it pretty bad. Honestly, it's not that big of a deal to chop it. I also had to cut my fenders and bang out my pinch welds.
It's all good man. And I currently have 265/70s on my stock rig without spacer and no rubbing. So is that weird then? Lol

You don't rub at full flex and lock anywhere?
No I don't. My stock suspension is damn near shot. Im literally within half an inch from touching the bump stops. And forward and reverse I don't feel or hear any rubbing when cranked. I'll have to put it on jack stands tomorrow afternoon and let the wheel drop all the way to see if it touches anywhere but I'm pretty sure I'm good.

I have the OME FJ Kit on my 'runner (same part numbers as for 4runner) with 265/70/17 KO2, with SCS wheels and stock UCA's and I rubbed a little. No trimming required, but I did have to push the fender liner forward, and remove the front mud flaps.

I have 265/70/17s right now. And I don't rub and that's stock height. I'm looking to do the 3in lift with 285/70/17 or 275/70/17.

Mine is the 3 inch ome as well. I think the ko2s are the only ones of that size that rub, plus my wheels offset pushes them out a bit. If you run stock plus something like spidertrax, plus ko2s, you will probably rub, but nothing major. Not trimming level rub, just pushing the fender liner forward level.

I've always been happy with OME products and have not complaints about the ride though some people say it rides like a truck vs the XREAS ride. I go off-road a lot and it's what I recommend to anyone looking for a real lift vs a pavement/cosmetic lift.

What springs did you go with the front?Here Is Mine / OME heavies with ARB Front Bumper and Warn 9000 Winch / CBI rear bumper With Hi Lift ,Shovel , Spare tire and Jerry can Holder
